Believe it or not, having a gypsy soul makes life slightly complicated.

Gypsy souls come with awkward moments and hurt feelings. And I don’t mean your feelings.

You can’t count on two hands the number of times you’ve hurt someone you love. Usually, it’s due to the fact that you refuse to stay in the same place forever.

You thrive off of change and the unknown. You desire new places with new faces. Discovering new cultures and creating new relationships is your passion. Always has been, always will be.

But some people don’t understand your open mentality. They follow life’s”traditional” route. You’re born, you grow up, get some education, get married, have babies, grow old and die. They don’t grasp the concept of craving freedom. They don’t feel the rush and exhilaration you get from chasing the sun.

But you do. And it’s the most amazing feeling in the world.

You flow with the wind and move in the direction your sails are blown. Settling isn’t an option for you. It’s not even a thought. You’re free as a bird and fly where you please. You clash with life’s rules and run from institutions. You’re addicted to the high of independence.

Your friends and family would consider you a flight risk. They see you as a rebellious wild child with no ambitions. They fear your reckless lifestyle.

But you don’t. The only thing you fear is disappointing yourself. You work hard to fulfill your own wishes and satisfy your thirsty soul.

Does that make you a flight risk? Nope. Does that make you a rebellious wild child with no ambitions? Nope. Does that make you reckless? HELL NO.

It makes you different. It makes you brave. It makes you a hero for your own life.

Gypsy souls are a rare thing in our society. Which is what makes you so unique. You have the ability to escape life’s standards. You don’t feel obligated to “follow the leader” or jump on the bandwagon. Propaganda doesn’t influence you.

Your only influence is the raging fire in your soul that keeps you moving. The passion in your heart that gives you wings.

While some don’t understand you, others envy you. They see the determination in your eyes and wish they had your whimsical personality. They want your courage and bravery to jump into the unknown. And because of their jealousy, they shed hatred around you because they want so bad to be you. You are an idol to them, whether they admit it or not.

You are one of earth’s greatest treasures. You radiate sunshine and good vibes. Though you never stay in the same place for too long, you always leave a legacy behind. People are forever affected by your love and passion and grace. The influence you place on your surrounding environments is strong enough to affect even the most close-minded person.

You have the ability to change the world. That is your ambition. That is your goal in this life. And you plan to do everything in your power to conquer that goal.

You’ve made a vow to yourself that when the good Lord decides to take you home, you will be remembered. You will leave a legacy behind.
